    Hello Binu

i have Carefully Rechecked all my wiring and guess what, the Speed Control doesn't work, from 1 to 5 speeds no Ouput, and from 6 to 8 i get 230 Volts line voltage.

Connect a LED instead of the opto coupler, then check the circuit.
the Brightness of the LED varies with speed. if there is no variation in the brightness, then you should check the Zero crossing detector circuit which is built over the LM358.

The datas are stored to EEPROM after every time you press the button on the remote, so that the data will be safe even during power failure. Go to the projects page to download the code of the project.

We need just 1 byte to store the conditions of the 8 devices. 1 bit for every device.
For reading and writing the EEPROM please go through the tutorials in the main page.
