    This problem started no more than a couple of hours ago. It seems that no matter how many times I read a thread, the forum and/or my computer doesnt recognize that Ive read it, and continues to mark it as unread.

    Is anyone else having this problem?

    from io import StringIO
    ## Create _io.StringIO memory buffer object f
    f = StringIO()
    ## Write string data to f and return the length of the string
    f.write('hello') # result: 5
    f.write(' ') # result: 1
    f.write('world!') # result: 6
    ##Extract all content in object f
    f.getvalue() # Result: hello world!
    ## To read StringIO, you can initialize StringIO with a str, and then read it like a file:
    f1 = StringIO('Hello!\nHi!\nGoodbye!')
    while True:
    s = f1. readline()
    if s == '':
    break
    print(s. strip())
    result:
    Hello!
    Hi!
    Goodbye!
